The schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023 has been officially announced. The big event will happen in India from October 5 to November 19. 100 days before the first match, the ICC and BCCI announced the schedule at a special event in Mumbai.

In the opening match, the current champions, England, will play against the runners-up from the last tournament, New Zealand. This match will take place at the famous Narendra Modi Stadium. This stadium, which is the biggest cricket stadium in the world, will also host the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan on October 15. The final match of the tournament will also be held at this stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.

Other cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Dharamsala, and Kolkata will also host matches for the Cricket World Cup 2023.

During the World Cup, matches will have two different start timings. On double-header matchdays, the day matches will begin at 10:30 AM IST. However, for the day/night games, the start time will be 2:00 PM IST. Most of the matches are scheduled to start at 2:00 PM IST.
